ClaimID Launches

ClaimID has launched. ClaimID is a service that allows you to aggregate and contextualize URLs that are about you. So, if you’ve got a common name or there’s material about you that’s hard to find, you can make sure it’s findable. If you’ve got a blog and are good about linking to things about yourself, it probably won’t offer much benefit, but for people who don’t blog, this could be a valuable service. There’s a link to reputation here.

Thanks for the mention!

We're hoping to have some more loose coupling built into the system soon - emails, more OpenID hooks, etc.

Let us know if you find things that need some ironing or better explanation. We're big on feedback.

(this post was a whole lot better with hyperlinks left in).
ClaimID also comes with godawful terms of service. I sure as hell hope they flop, or get bought out by microsoft or something. Excluding "inappropriate, profane, defamatory, ..., obscene, indecent or unlawful material or information." is approximately 100% of the content on the internet. Unlawful to whom? The chinese government? Saudi arabia?
