Integrating Mantis and Subversion
Tom Gregory has a nice tutorial on integrating Subversion and Mantis so that, for example, Mantis tickets can be automatically closed when a fix is committed to the repository. Frankly, I’d never even considered this. Good stuff and well written.

You might also want to consider using Trac for integrated Wiki/Issue Tracker/Subversion Source Browser.

Trac was one of the finalists when we were evaluating bug traking systems. We ended up staying with Mantis.
I've used Trac with the Prototype and Script.aculo.us Javascript libraries. It certainly is neat--I particularly like the wiki nature of ticket comments and the svn integration. However, I thought its reporting/sorting/filtering features were not as robust as those in Mantis when dealing with large lists of tickets.
