Blogtools v0.9 hCard Examples

The following examples show a little of how the hCard tool works.

• New hCard - Calling the hCard editor for no url parameter allows a URL to be entered or a new hCard to be created.
• Inline (not hidden) hCard - hCards can appear inline without any effects.
• Floating hCard - This shows a hidden hCard that appears as a card floating above other material on the page.
• Blinds hCard - This shows a hidden hCard that appears in place using a window blind effect.
• Two hCards - this example shows two hCards on a single page. Clicking the "edit these cards" link brings up the hCard editor dialog for choosing which card on the page to edit.

Examples in the Wild

• TagCamp Contact Page - The participants at TagCamp created hCards for a contact list. If you edit the page, you'll see a list of 32 hCards. Clicking on anyone of them will pull that hCard into the editor for easy manipulation.
