The Museum has identified several hotels that close by and that offer special rates to Museum visitors. The The Hotel Avante (650.940.1000) seems like pretty good deal. They have 91 rooms and are offering a room rate of $149 per night. When you call, just tell them that you are with IIW.
The Hotel Avante has free transportation to the Museum, broadband connectivity in all of its rooms and the entire facility is otherwise wired for WiFi. They have a beer and wine happy hour and from what I heard from Mashup Camp, they're pretty flexible with the bar area. Sounds like a good place to hold informal meetings after dinner.
The Museum's other option was the Hilton Garden Inn in Mountain View (650.964.1700).
