Stop Forgetting Attachments
Don’t you hate when you send an email that should have an attachment and you forget to attach it? I’ve often wished my mail client could help me remember. I just found a plug-in for Apple’s Mail.app mail client that does just that.
This plugin from James Eagan scans outgoing email key words like “attached,” “attaching,” and so on and warns you if there’s no attachment. Cool.

Wow! That's one of those great ideas that make you wonder why someone else didn't think of that earlier.
We've all forgotten to attach an attachment at least once and this solution is such a simple thing that it should be a standard feature in all e-mail clients. I'm going to have to see of there's a Mozilla Thunderbird extension that does this.

KMail has had that same feature for years. I think I first saw it there in 2001 or 2002.
It's saved me from "looking dumb" (OK, maybe not) on a few occasions.
Glad to see other email clients getting such a sensible and helpful tool.
