Label that Brick!
Don Reisinger hates power bricks. More specifically, he hates that he can’t tell which brick goes with which product. Years ago, I got frustrated not knowing what brick went with what device when I pulled them out of a box and hit on a simple strategy. Every time I open a new box of anything, the first thing I do is label the brick. It’s saved me a ton of frustration.

Labels can fall off. I use a silver metallic Sharpie for this purpose - it will write on anything, even glass, and the silver ink stands out well on a black wall-wart.

If the world wasn't designed by a drunk barber (line from a Frank Capra movie) we wouldn't be producing a gazillion wall warts and ultimately consigning them to land fills.
Sometimes the inefficiencies of the market system are just so embarrassing, you'd almost expect people to be shamed into smarter performance.
Alas. Our economy knows no such shame.
